15 Comments on March Muddy Madness 2012 - Getting down and dirty in Clark County, Washington
Debb: What a fun time for runners and those who like to play in the mud. ;-)
Hi Debb. What a way to welcome in spring! I've seen a race like this before and it seemed like the participants were having a blast!
Debb- The March Muddy Madness sounds like a hoot for all. Are you going? Video to follow :)
Debb-a 3 mile obstacle course through the mud, sounds like a fun Spring kick-off event in Clark County, guaranteed to bring out everyone's inter-child. Have fun.
Hi Debb, Fun and Fitness together is a nice combination. Looking forward to seeing a video from this event too. Have a Great Weekend!
Debb~Are ya gonna go Green and Brown? Just don't run next to the guy with the moustache and the tutu...he's a little odd.
(P.S. I just had a "feeling" to go on your blog, I pulled mine up and there you were at the top of my blogroll--we must be in sync!)
Debb this sounds like a hoot! I bet everyone that participates has such a great time. I cannot imagine myself going 6 miles in the mud, but perhaps 25-30 years ago.........I would have taken it on.
Debb, We want to see you, your green costume and the mud all in living color video! What fun!
Debb,
Are you going? It sounds like great fun, and thanks for the reminder of setting our clocks forward...glad all our electronics do it automatically. A
Debb, do you participate? I'd love to see the costume you'd come up with.
Ever since I was supposed to teach that class, I don't throw anything out.... you can make something out of some plastic bags, toilet rolls, empty tubes...I'll send them if you need them.LOL
Good clean fun, right Anita?
Cal gal! Yes, I've always thought it would be fun. A baby Tough Mudders race. :)
Debb,
March Muddy Madness sounds like a truly fun event to participate in and laugh through out the course. I would enjoy it but these days I have to walk as runny days are long over with this hip surgery stuff. It would be great just to go and take pictures and a video. Besides a little dirt never hurt anyone..
Q-man, doubt I'll go this year. But, I might next. I have a conflict this weekend. You can walk it, run it, or crawl it - something for all fitness levels. lol.
Adrian. Yeah. Doesn't that sound like big fun?
Jerry, wish I could get a video...it would be wonderful, sadly I won't be attending it this year.
Gayle, I'll bet that guy in the tutu is a fun lovin soul! I won't be going this year. If you were around we could form a team. :)
Mary - you don't have to run..you can walk it too. It might be fun to re-live some of those muddy days of childhood.
Hey Marge, you won't see green me covered in black mud this weekend...maybe at some point in the future...:)
Alexandra - won't be doing it this year. I did just have a marvelous run along the lake - it's sunny and warm (relatively, 56). No problem with the time change reminder...that time of year- again.
Ellen, if I was going to run it...I'd go as a tree of some sort. Probably a brown bodysuit with leaves sticking out. :) That or a goofy little leprechaun.
Hi Bob, The Shamrock Run is the biggie around here, and it's the weekend of St Patrick's day. I've run it many times and even won a prize in my age group last year. The older I get the better I place...the field is narrowing. Lol. At any rate, the first time I ran it, there was a group of guys I passed carrying a cooler filled with beer. Talk about a party. :)
