Falling for Hamlet by Michelle Ray

Since I am not a fan of Shakespeare, I only got this book because it is written by a friend of mine. I started reading it fully preparing myself to not enjoy it. Imagine my surprise when I found myself becoming engrossed in the story. Though I knew the gist of the story of Hamlet, I was not familiar with the details so I really enjoyed seeing the story through a more modern lens. There were times when it was difficult to modernize the story completely, some things just didn't ring true. However, the story is interesting and well written. I look forward to reading Michelle's next book.
