The Indispensable Opposition, by Walter Lippmann, is a short essay I had to read in a creative writing class at HACC. Harrisburg Area Community College. It had an impact on me the first time a read it and today I think back to it often as I hear news from my children on what subjects they are not allowed to talk about or words they can use in school. What's more troubling is seeing how the pundits have used it to silent opposition.

I hope the next President of The United States of America will focus on home ownership and the the economy so that our cities become a beacon for our children to improve their communities and not the debt laden cities destine to failure that will be shackled to the next generation of Americans.

Foreclosures are deplete a tax base.

I've learned the most when I've said something disagreeable with others.

Please speak your mind if you think your thoughts need to be heard by others. I might exercise my right not to listen though.
