That looks like fun. I would take my daughter to that if I lived near by.

Hi team Bliz,

Looks like a good time to be had by the children.

I get to work with the real things everyday. I am a chief inspector for a operation here in Carlsbad. That's why I am soooo busy.

I have this job along with the home inspection business that is keeping me hopping.

Good post. Enjoy your upcoming weekend in Ohio.

Best, Clint McKie

Both my Granddad's worked the railroad. It must be a genetic thing because I have always loved trains!

John, One of the cool things about Active Rain blogging is getting to see all the cool events and places across the country.  This event will be HUGE with the kids.

Clint, Cool job(s)!  They've got a scenic railroad in Cass, West Virginia that I've ridden many times.  Turn of the 1900's old Shay locomotives going up the mountainside.  Beautiful!

John, I think working the railroad might be one of the few things my grandfather DIDN'T do :)

Hi Bliz. I would love to see a Model Railroad Show. With over 100 hobby trains for display, all the kids, small and big should have a fun packed weekend.

BLiz- I love trains!  My dad took me to the train station when I was a little girl, so perhaps that's why I love them.  The Model Railroad Show sounds like fun for everyone.

Lets shake things up at your home today!

Wow, you just gave me a flashback to my childhood..................that's going some BLiz................it was a long, long time ago.  We had a model train that my Dad would set up for us on the ping pong table in our basement.  For years it was under our Christmas tree, but as it grew, it moved to the basement and got put up earlier and earlier every year.................haven't thought about this in years, thanks, I think!

Very cool event.

Jerry, They've certainly hit a popular niche!  There's a model railroad shop in downtown Mason, maybe this will get some more attention for them too.

Kathy, It's hard not to love trains!  Whether riding them, or counting the cars at a crossing, they're a part of our lives.

Roger, Glad to bring back some happy memories!  Funny how those railroads grow and grow!  We've got another standing train business that has all kinds of displays.  A blog post for another day perhaps!

My Pop had a big train set, too.  He passed his love along to my big brother.  I would so attend this train convention if it were in my neck of the woods!  Have a GREAT time everyone!
