"The Sky is Falling"

Is it true? For months how the media has been talking about how bad the economy is, and now I heard on the radio this morning it is gonna get worse! Yes, "Oh the economy was good, yesterday, but it looks like it's going to be so bad tomorrow.

First of all, slow growth is growth, nonetheless. Secondly, I would like to object to the use of the phrase "all the way down".This is a phrase that sounds like the economy is going to come to a screeching halt. I think we need to not think that "The Sky is Falling",and not make the bad economy sound like a foregone conclusion.
