Oceanside Inn in Daytona Beach Shores is on my list of preferred condo-hotels in Daytona Beach area. You run into people here who are genuinely nice and – a big plus - professional. In my opinion this is one of the best conversions from a old rundown hotel to a decent condo-hotel.

Front Desk is running hotel rentals, they are the people that greet you.

The resort is a 9-story building with 191 rooms. The majority of units are double units. 

Double units are two side-by-side hotel rooms with a connecting door. Each room with its own bathroom. Triple unit is just one more studio with a connecting door.

Resort amenities include heated oceanfront pool, conference room, which can be divided in two, small exercise room, breakfast area and Tiki Bar. No pets policy and no long term renting/living in the resort.

In the last month there was a wave of units going under contract, and nearly all really inexpensive units are gone. The best studio is unit 315, a direct oceanfront 408 sf unit on the 3rd floor for $59,900 (exceptional price). The best priced double unit today is unit 822-823 on the north side. High enough to have excellent views of both the ocean and the Intracoastal.

Times of double unit for under $50K have gone. And it is quite possible that in couple of months we will be looking at prices over $100K. Are you smiling? It is not long ago when $100K in Oceanside was considered an incredible price.

It is not too late to get a very good deal in Oceanside Inn in Daytona Beach Shores or any other condo or condo-hotel in Daytona Beach Shores or in any other the area, and it is easier to shop when you do not have to compete with too many buyers. It's coming.

Nice post highlighting the Oceanside Inn Jon, activity for all our markets seems to be picking up over the last months.

Larry - yesl we are busier than ever... since the last peak, at least (LOL).

But when I am watching taxes at less than half of where they were, it is scary. The city coffers are drying out fast
