A Great AR Idea - Advertising How We Have Become More Efficient

Reading this blog post by AR, I was immediately impressed.  This is a way to help us all!

I am all about increasing my efficiency.

Some months ago, I was having a problem when needing to deal with people having questions about a report, or a circumstance that I identified on a report.

My problem?  I couldn't remember everything I wrote. 

Often people would call from work and did not have the report in front of them to read to me what I had written.

This was a problem for me.  It would be great to somehow have my reports in front of me, but short of carrying a number of huge boxes with me all the time (impossible) I was in a pickle.

Then I heard about Dropbox.  And I went to the cloud!

They have an app that works with my phone!

This program affords me the opportunity to download all my computerized inspection reports to my phone.

Then, when on a conversation, if someone had a question about a report, or comments therein, I could bring it up on my phone and speak intelligently.

This was so important.  Not to have to wait until the evening and to be able to answer a question on the spot was very helpful.

And it has helped me many times since!

So now my inspection reports are saved by Dropbox, by my computer protection software, and every few months on a CD.

I also print each inspection and store it in a file box at home.  And I have bunches, that is BUNCHES, of boxes!

Sure, electronic files take less space!  But I am covered now in many ways.
