WOW!
Thanks for the post here!
That's an amazing difference from what I'm looking at up here in Anchorage today! Beautiful photos - you are blessed to live in paradise!

Hi Joe, - thanks for commenting! Will you be coming to Hawaii this winter?
i need to move to Hawaii... I feel like moving there more and more, as I see the snow here in Utah :)
you are so lucky... these pictures and the location are great
Suzanne - I'm in heaven alright.
Susan - Yup, even being stuck in traffic isn't so bad.
Sally - thanks for the nice comment!
Mehmet - You could think about a vacation to Maui in the meantime.
Georgina,
the vacations are the worst when I come back... everytime i come back from vacation, i find myself trying to find ways to move out of Utah.. then the reality check comes in... I can't :) my wife and I both have our own businesses and we are kind of stuck :)
Mehmet - I know what you mean - I was bitten by that bug after coming here just once.
Toni- At least it's warm when it rains! Very windy here today.
Don - You were indeed lucky back then.
We decided long ago that it didn't make much sense to spend all year dreaming of a trip to Maui, when we could move here and spend every weekend on Maui. Of course it wasn't easy at first, and it still takes a lot of hard work to keep afloat here, but it has gotten easier after a few decades!
This is so beautiful and warm Georgina! It's around 0C here - last year at this time I was in Cuba, but no chance this year! Ahh, those beach shots are sooo very beaconing me....
Thanks nice post!
Deborah, did you know WestJet flies directly to Maui in the winter months?
Elaine, you're right, windsurfers buy plenty of real estate around here.
Deborah - well maybe next year will be a good time
Debra - the cost of living is pretty high. a lot of people work 2 or 3 jobs to make ends meet. we have about 1660 licensed agents in Maui county.
Richard - yes, it's really that blue and pretty, it's amazing.
LIsa - these islands have some incredible terrain compared to Florida
