Excellent to see the follow-up pics from Saturday's "Warm up" event, Maria - it looks like it was tremendous fun!
Howdy and morning Maria
Maria my friend, Thank you mighty kindly! Your mighty fine photos have put a big smile upon my face, and sure brought back such mighty fine memories of enjoyment of driving into K.C. to watch the St. Patrick's Parade in Brookside, K.C.
May the warm rays of Sunshine of happiness always find their way too and fall upon you and your family!
Have a good one

Holy cow, John, snow in Albuquerque! Well, good that you got the needed precipitation. You have a wonderful Sunday too.
Good morning Maria. Looks like a ton of fun to me! I just saw your question of snow in the Q ... Yep! Woke up to a good nice little snow just what this ole dry desert has been begging for! Enjoy all you do on this wonderful Sunday my friend.
Good to see that your community is ready for St. Patrick's Day.
I guess we need to get ActiveRain to change to green print for a few days.
You too, John. Glad you're putting the snow to good use!
Roy, that's an excellent idea!
Maria, nothing like getting a head start on St. Patrick's Day. Your images tell the story of all that is involved in making a parade happen!
Maria, St. Patrick's Day is so much fun. The warm up will certainly help the parade run smoothly.
Different parade, Kathleen. I think perhaps you're confusing the St Pat's Day Warm Up Parade, which happened yesterday, with the St Patrick's Parade which will happen next week, on the 17th. Yeah, I know, too many parades to keep up with, right? lol We like our parades in Kansas City!
Hi Maria,
Interesting to have a warm-up parade! I do love parades!
Maria, the "warm-up" parade looks like a lot of fun. I guess the "warm up" was a practice run for the real thing next week? In any case, it's a great idea, that way, people get two opportunities to attend a great parade!
Silvia, actually, the St. Patrick's Day Warm Up Parade in Brookside is put on by a different group than the St Patrick's Day Paraded on the 17th. Some entrants will march in both but not necessarily. Kansas City has a large Irish Population. We're right after New York and Chicago. We're also a large metropolitan area so we have multiple parades and festivities starting in February and runing through March 17th. there are 4 big Parades, the Gaelic Mass, multiple dinners, multiple Run/Walks, and other activities throughout the month.
Maria looks like it was a great day for a warm up parade at your neck of the woods. Its going to be a fun day on the 17th!
Maria,
That looks like a blast!

My son loves parades! This post just reminded me that I need to look online to put a few on the schedule!
Great job on this Maria. You captured the spirit of the event and the folks attending...Hmmmm...I need to do posts like this...
Chris, we're all 'warmed up' for St Patrick's Day in Kansas City! What's going on in Cupertino?
Maria -- Murray looks very cute in his green bow, ready for the warm up parade!!
Hi, Maria. Those pictures are really inviting. Looks like you guys really enjoyed the holliday. Thanks for sharing.
