I can still be tempted.

Now that I have lived in the land-locked State of Utah for the last five plus years, I have gotten out of the regular routine of seafood dishes, somehow associating seafood with a coastal experience.

My wife and I differ in our staple eating, but in the interests of household harmony I have been adapting to what is proffered (...and doing quite well, I might add).

All good things come to those who wait.

My Fridays now see me close to a magnificent cafeteria that includes a special of seafood (on real plates).

Fish and chips I might easily pass by, chowder maybe, but prawns (shrimp), NEVER. Especially when it's all for me.

And the monthly menu is right on my computer screen. Imagine joining me for lunch next Friday.

Standby for my future indulgence in giant crab legs, and even lobster pieces.

Larry... those look absolutely delicious. I wish there was a branch of that restaurant nearby so I could go over and stuff myself silly. Yummers ! My current seafood favorite is Blackened Catfish... at a place called Raven's Grille here in the Fort Worth area. Absolutely delicious.

Hmmm... how did that happen ? Vern's comment was there before I typed mine and hit submit, and now... not only is my first comment sitting in front of his... they are both market as #1's.

I wonder what will happen when I submit this comment... which should come in labeled as #3 ?

Larry, while those butterflied fried shrimp look delicious, the fat from the breading and the oil makes me shudder - sorry. Now, if they have a GREAT shrimp cocktail sauce, I just might have to overlook all of that, LOL>

Great choice of dinner Larry. Nothing better than fresh seafood. Actually it's very healthy for you as it contains Omega 3 or 6 or something good. Eat well and live long my friend.
