28 Comments on Eliminate Inefficiencies ........... A Key To Success
Mortgage Returns sounds like a cool product, it's incredible how little we actually use the tools at are disposal!
George
Congrats on the feature, and for sharing your thoughts on this contest. Sounds like you have made a MAJOR step forward in eliminating inefficiencies in your business. We can all do that, no doubt.
Gotta give this contest some thought.
Jeff
Mortgage Returns sounds like a great return on investment. There are many tools at our disposal and what I find is that finding the ones that work as intended and that you'll actually use consistently are key. Lots of people seem to have many tools, but they don't really use them...so they aren't really helping the efficiency factor much. Keeping on top of what's new and better is key too, and those new gadgets and tools keep coming with greater speed all the time. Congrats on being ahead of the curve and staying there...and on the feature too.
Hey George...if your judgment says its a good system to use then why not go for it.
A good thing that you have an open mind to change so you can always be at the top of your game. .
Thank you for sharing the post with all us. Great job is sharing a way to continued success and doing things the right way.
George, Mortgage Returns sounds like a very good program to keep you productive and in contact with your clients. Way to go!
George, any tool that will assist with streamlining your process will certainly help your bottom line.
George, Mortgage Returns sounds like it is working for you very well. Way to go! You were around when my first computer, a PC Junior, cost me $5,000 from Sears!
Great blog, thanks for sharing, have a great week!
Better, faster and cheaper....always is in the fore front for tweaking....good post
George, great post and well deserved star!!! Becoming and staying efficient with your business IS an ongoing process. You talked a lot about technology and that it's your friend...I agree...I had a Physics Professor say to the class once..."Don't become a Dinosaur" at your job. He was referring to doing things the same old way and or letting technology pass you by.
Adapting to new technology is critical. The speed of change is making this more important than ever! Thanks for the reminder.
George I like how you have developed systems for the routine to keep you on top of things. Very good. Great advice.
George congrats on another feature! Mortgage Returns sounds like it is going to be with you for a long time. Congrats on having your business so organized and running so smoothly!
George,
Sounds like a fabulous tool! I am impressed. I need somehting like that for Realtors!
All the best, Michelle
Managing our time, something which always seems I have too little of, trying not to get tied up in unprofitable tasks, and utiliizing new technology are all mandatory in today's world.
Thanks for your post.
George, staying at the front of the curve with changes, whether with technology or business practices keeps you sharp and at the front of the pack.
Wow, George, wish they had something like this for real estate! This is phenomenal, talk about taking the drudgery out of keeping up with your contacts!

"automatically sends out birthday cards, anniversary cards, loan anniversary notices, monthly news letters, as well as other things when the date to do so accrues."
Sorry George,
I keep thinking how sad this is! How sad that people have been reduced to a data file. How sad that your machine sends me cards about personal events, better they just send date files so that my machine could send out equally sincere thank you files.
On the other hand: "Mortgage Returns also sends me a daily notice telling me which of my Borrowers I should consider contacting that day based on the parameters that I have given it. For example it will search my data files daily for Borrowers that I can save at least $100 a month on their monthly payment, and when the interest rate on my past borrowers drops 1% from the Borrower's current interest rate."
How wonderful! The difference is "sends me" as compared to: "automatically sends out"
I get automatic cards at least once a week from "chase," a bad example of an automated bank like institution, there is nothing personal! The fact is they just make me madder!
How they can get it so right letting you know you can help the client and so impersonally send out those cards is beyond explanation.
There is no excuse for impersonalizing the personal. There is also nothing new here! One of the first professional speakers I put on stage in Kalamazoo more than 35 years ago was I believe Roger Butcher selling tapes and a card system consisting of detailed information on clients and a daily reminder card to remind you to send out personal cards.
If we take the personal out of personal contacts we become just like the lobotomised management at chase.
