How I spent the extra hour of daylight
I decided to get an early start on the garden beds so I did some raking and added compost to the Iris beds.
It fell really good to be working outside and I can't wait to see what will pop up out of the soil.
If you are looking to sell your home this spring getting an early start on the flower beds will certainly make the outside of the home more attractive.

What an excellent way to spend a warm spring day! I am itching to get into my gardens, but kind of think I need to wait until the snow is all gone.

Jennifer, sounds like you made great use of that extra hour of daylight! With the warm weather in Denver today, I was able to spend a few hours cleaning up the yard too, and sure did feel good!

Good for you. I spent my extra hour inside packing a house where we had to evict the tenant. . . UGH. . . I was not able to appreciate the gorgeous weather. I am glad you were!
We also utilized the extra hour very well today, the weather permitted to have a very nice day.

Lyndia I don't think we every really saw a hard frost this winter. Yes I had fun outdoors this weekend.
Joan we seem to have been on the same page, and it felt really good.

I love springing forward because I love the sun shining later in the day. But I really, REALLY dislike falling back. HA!
Jennifer, It's a bit early in the year to be taking on that kind of project in NY isn't it? You are an optimist I guess that old man winter is not going to come back around again for last good bye.
Jennifer, I hope you'll keep us informed of the upcoming growth. There's not much more awesome than new spring growth and beautiful flowers.
