10 Comments on Mimosa Bridge Replacement Project
VERY cool! The little bit of inconvenience will soon be forgotten when the new bridge is in place!
Amy, we had a local bridge reconstructed a few years ago. When they announced it was to be done and would take 3 years we thought it would never end. However, its done and much better, and worth the wait.
Amy, progress and safety have their penalty, but hopefully there will be fresh orange juice in May when it's completed. BYOB
Amy, Ed and I are thinking along the same lines...The Mimosa Bridge Replacement Project...I'll drink to that!!!
What a great way to provide information that locals will need. And it is attractively presented and easy to read. Nice job!
Joni - Yep! The best news is that there are lots of side streets to get to the same places!
Ellen - I'm sure there will be a few complaints..... but it will be nice when completed!
Ed - I'll squeeze the Orange Juice myself ;0)
Nick - You and Ed have great minds..... Like I said, I'll squeeze the orange juice myself! Cheers!
Mimi - Thanks! I can't tell you how many cars I watched turn on their signals to turn onto Mimosa yesterday, to find they couldn't.... Hopefully, it will save some folks a few minutes of turning around to hit the side streets :0) We had to go into MLS and change all of our directions to our properties yesterday! It will be nice in the end!
Yesterday I meandered around town taking side roads and actually seeing some things I have not seen in a while thanks to the detour. Can't wait for the new bridge. Great blog Amy!
Amy & Marian...sorry to hear you're not going to make it to 'Bama this spring...maybe I can make it out your way this year...better be looking over your shoulder...you never know!
Mom - I can't wait either.... IT is going to be wonderful for all the "Walkers".....
Nick - I am so disappointed :0( but Soccer Season Calls! It actually looks like we may be in the Atlanta Area in July (fingers crossed), and our plan is do a little camping and visiting with folks at the same time..... Maybe then (if not before) we will get to see you !
Amy, hey, Atlanta is only a 4 hour ride...keep me updated...maybe I can swing by...maybe ride my bike (motorcycle)...that would be a nice ride.
