Daily Devotional: False Evidence Appearing Real

Prayer Starter: Lord, alert me when I'm confronted be False Evidence Appearing Real. I know that with Your help, I can respond with the power of faith and send fear running every time.

2 Timothy 1:7 God didn't give us a spirit that is timid but one that is powerful, loving, and self-controlled.

The author is referring to the debilitating fear that Satan tries to inflict us with every day. False Evidence Appearing Real (FEAR). She states the "fear is the opposite of faith, and that is true. We can't live in faith and fear at the same time. Fear paralyzes us and keeps us from receiving God's promises."

Good point. The only thing fearful in me is the way I was made... and wonderful too! I get a kick out of how conservative Christians really stump for their candidates. I have a fave but realize he has no chance nor do I believe he'd make that much of a difference. Oh, maybe for a time. Our problems in this country are all based on fear and our last president was no different even though he claimed to be an evangelical Christian. I really don't know where his heart is but the fruit of his administration was based mostly in fear of another 9/11 happening. It's so wonderful to not fear anything ever. It's real freedom. I'm glad I decided to check out your blog finally... I'm a subscriber now.

Yeah, we need to change Congress more than the President. Honestly, the President has or should have little law making power. The current one seems to think he can do whatever he wants. But I digress from the reasons for this post......
