2012 has been about working smarter and more efficiently. I made a few changed to help run my business a little better, since it is a business and not a hobby.
One change is that I hired an assistant again. She used to work for a couple different National Builders on the Internet sales team, so she knows a thing or two about following up with internet leads. That's exactly what she's doing. She's going through my database(s) of hundreds and thousands of leads and finding the gold! It was so inefficient for me to do all that follow up when there's so much other stuff to do.
Another change I've made is using Docusign more. This has been a huge time saver for me! My buyers and I have found ourselves in Multiple Offer Situations more times than not, and it's so easy to modify an offer and resubmit without having to coordinate schedules, without having to drive in rush hour traffic, and with meeting a short deadline for final submissions.
This week, I have buyers out of town on Spring Break with their kids. They liked a foreclosure house, but investors can't submit an offer until day 13, which will be Thursday. I had then sign an offer prior to leaving town, via docusign, so I can submit it this week without them even being here.
I've also teamed up with another agent in my office who is generating leads for me, and I'm paying her a referral fee. Talk about genius! She doesn't want to actually sell real estate anymore, but she has a highly ranked website generating leads, so here I am to receive those leads. Genius of an idea!
