Random Useful Links for Blogging Agents

Here is an assortment of recent findings that I think are super useful for the blogging agent:

  • I read Seth Godin on a regular basis. Then I go back and re-read him again. Today he directed me (yes, I like to think that he writes JUST for me...) to a great site on URL aesthetics: goodURLbadURL.com. Check it out for ideas on how to find the "perfect" URL.
  • When blogging - or doing ANY advertising for that matter, you must remember WWIFM: What's In It For Me.  The consumer does not care about you or all the things that you think they may care about. They only care about themselves and how YOU will better their life.  Here is an EXCELLENT post to reaffirm what WIIFM really means: Nine Things People Don't Care About, by HELLOmyNAMEisSCOTT.

  • Many people fear blogging for a variety of reasons. This is one of the best, most comprehensive "addressing" of common blogging fears that I have found to this date: Curing the Fears of Being an Amateur Blogger.

  • RealEstateShows.com: This is an AWESOME resource for marketing your listings. For just $125 a YEAR - you will have the ability to create UNLIMITED Real Estate Tours of your listings ... or whatever else you would want a tour of (neighborhoods, community events ...). This site is SUPER user friendly and there plenty of options to customize your tours and great opportunities for branding. These tours can be added to ALL of your online advertising. Real Estate SHows now offers a killer RE Flyer that auto-pushes to many other sites as well.

  • UNCLUTTERER.com has so many helpful tips for making your life less cluttered and more sane. We all need that... especially if we are jugghling our business, family AND blogging.

Hey Miriana...thanks for the links!  I can't wait to see Seth Godin at Family Reunion.  Hope to see you there!  The Unclutterer site looks great! You should see my desk...it's amazing I get anything done.

I'll have to check out RealEstateShows.  I learned about them right after signing up for VisualTour.  I like RES prices better!
