Nancy - All I can say is, I hope those footprints are headed in the right direction:-) Sacramento has had an unusally mild winter. But we have finally received some meaningful rain yesterday and today. It is forecast to last several more days. I'm glad for thtat!

Talk about whacky extremes, Nancy ... here in Chicagoland we're having 70+ weather. People are out back on the golf course course golfing in shirt sleeves .. in mid-March!! Strange stuff. Those snowy footprints will be gone soon ... spring is near ...

Thanks Dee!! And actually I did continue down my driveway which turns to the left and then gives me a gorgeous view of towering evergreens with hills in the distance....so I'm smiling, spring or not.
