Woodbridge CT Clean Energy Initiative (WCEI) Seminar Series
The WCEI Task force is offering a year long seminar series. The seminars started in November and will continue on the third Thursday of each month and for 12 months. Woodbridge CT Town residents are invited to attend free of charge. The sessions will be held in the café in the basement of the Center School Building, 4 Meeting House Lane, Woodbridge CT. Refreshments will be provided.
The Town now buys 25% of its energy from wind power, a source whose price has fallen dramatically in recent years.
The Town of Woodbridge CT is committed to combating global climate change and helping its residents save money.

•1. Nov 15: The CT Clean Energy Communities Program - Kerri Enright, Smart power. How Woodbridge is saving money and helping to lessen global climate change.
•2. Dec 20: Save $500 this Heating Season - Invest in Conservation - Johnathan Gorham, Co-founder Cornerstones Energy Group, developed first computerized, utility sponsored residential energy audits in the USA, 1978.
•3. Jan 17: Movie #1 "The Warming of Connecticut" - See Shop CPTV for details.
•4. Feb 21: Tapping Solar Energy - Solar Thermal or Solar Electric? Pros and Cons Andy Danzig, Woodbridge resident with PV on his home and a solar installation company, to be announced.
•5. March 21: Movie #2 "Installing Solar PV arrays in the Kingdom of Bhutan", Solar Electric Light Fund, Washington DC. Discussion to follow.
•6. April 17: Sustainable Business Practices; IKEA and Recycling your CFLs - Sustainability Expert - IKEA New Haven

•8. June 19: Alternative Fuel Options - From Biomass to Bio-Willie - Can the Promise be fulfilled? By Jonathan Gorham, Co-founder SunEthanol, an alternative fuels company.
•9. July 17: Movies #4: KiloWattOurs" a plan to re-energize America". Discussion to follow.
•10. August 21: Wind Power and How Woodbridge is Saving Money from this Renewable Energy Source. Speaker to be announced: See NewHavenIndependent.org
