The U.S. Postal Service refuses to deliver any cards or letters addressed to Any Soldier.

Because of 9/11 and other national events which has caused global concerns.

These types of letters and cards will be returned and not delivered.

Recently I had the opportunity to Adopt A Platoon.and I loved it!.... The difference was I dealt with a specific person...my contact person.

If you would like to send cards and letter's to our Troops...please contact someone from AdoptAPlatoon.org.  They could sure use the help!

That is sad you can't even show appreciation due to people with no life.

Isn't that sad.  I was very dissapointed when I read that.  At first I was very angry with the Postal Service.  Once I read the story and understood the potential treat it makes sense.  I wish there was a way to get real names!!

That is good advice. I really had not thought about that as an issue but...the world has changed!

Robert-I have read that there are 1,000 of letters and cards being sent this way.  I read through all the guidelines and the article and can see why it could be of concern.

Jabin-you can you just have to follow the guidelines.  We need to keep our soldiers a little safer.

Erin-yes I feel bad for those with the good intentions...don't want to waste $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ when we are trying to do something good.

Kate-not sure how to go about that one BUT there are other places where you can send your message to our troops.  I would try adoptaplatoon.

Midori- I didn't know the postal service wouldn't deliver mail to the soldiers. I understand their reasoning, but that stinks. However, I have a soldier who is subscribed to my You Tube channel and I specifically asked him if he was getting the little cards we send through "JustSayThanks" and he said YES! I was very happy to hear that. I assume those are being delivered because they're filled out online, and Xerox is sending them.

But I'm definitely going to use AdoptAPlatoon also. Any way we can reach them and encourage them, should be used.

Lisa-you ain't kidding but I really understand.  I think that Xerox is awesome and maybe more companies need  to offer this service as well.  Also Lysa said the wounded soldiers were receiving the cards at least for now.

Midori, that's such a shame, I know there will be thousands of undelivered cards and letters if this is true.  Thanks for getting the word out.
