Each school get an overall rating, information on test scores, parent reviews, information on the school environment and an overview of the school district.  You can also compare public and private schools in an area. The web site is owned by GreatSchools Inc., a nonprofit organization located in San Francisco.

           SchoolMatters.com - This site provides information on public schools.  It is run by Standard & Poor's School Evaluation Services.  This site also gives test scores, parent ratings, student/teacher ratios, information on the school district and a lot more informations.
