Tysons Corner, Virginia is home to numerous big-name companies, the highest concentration of office and retail space on the East Coast after New York City, some wonderful restaurants, large shopping malls, world-class hotels, and lots of traffic.  Some of this traffic should be alleviated over the next 5-10 years with the planned completion of the Metro rail through Tysons Corner en route to Dulles Airport.

Many people commute to Tysons Corner as their place of business in the D.C. metro area.  Fewer people actually live there at night, but those that do enjoy the amenities that the area has to offer.  Condominiums form the majority of the homes available in Tysons Corner.

Tysons itself is an unincorporated area between McLean, Virginia and Vienna, Virginia

Tyson's desperately needs the metro through there!  Every time I go through there I wonder how they managed to grow so much development with so little supporting infrastructure!
The amenities in the area are great, I do enjoy hopping at Tyson's Corner myself!

Brian:  I'll take two...with a view!! Seriously...that is a pretty steep price for a one bedroom unit. You can get a one bedroom here for about 80K...not so luxurious though. LOVE your presentation!! I'm still learning how to 'juice up' the look of my posts. (I'm learnig something from all my buds.) GREAT JOB HERE!!

SALLY:  Thanks for your comment.  Tweaking the map took me the most time, but now that I've figured it out, I may use some of these homemade Google maps in future posts -- it gives people a good point of reference for understanding location within the D.C. metro area.

ELIZABETH:  Thanks for your comments and compliments.  While these prices might seem a bit high, they are actually pretty reasonable for our area considering Tysons' great location and the future subway expansion plans.

I just sent this to my daughter to remind her why she moved to Texas.  lol.  Living in a new condo here isn't anywhere near her price range.  I agree with the other comments, though, excellent presentation.  It should get you a buyer or two!
