YOUR PAST

You are not defined by your past; you are prepared by your past.

Every challenge you’ve faced, God deposited something of value on the inside. Your character was being developed. Strength was being increase. Vision was being enlarged. With every difficulty, you can experience a new level of God’s goodness. You may have had unfair things happen; somebody did you wrong, or maybe poor choices brought trouble upon you. Your past prepares you for a better future.

One of the things I’ve learned is that nothing happens to me; it happens for me. God would not have allowed me to go through difficult times if He didn’t have a purpose for them.

Even though you are going through challenges, even though something seems unfair, if you keep the right attitude, it will help you become who you were created to be and take you where you where you are supposed to go.

Have a great day!

I think of this while reviewing my own story and wonder to myself the story of the mother who lost her two legs protecting her kids in the latest Alabama Tornado.

Hi Winston.. trust me when I tell you that I do too... I was in a S___t Storm for the first 50 years of my life... but now I look back and without question I see that it all had a purpose and all worked out for the best. Even getting Lupus when I was 30 and having my husband leave me with 3 kids because he could stick around and watch me die... I'm still here 42 years later and for 30 of those years I've shared my life with the most awesome man on the planet... Every day I question and I wonder and then I think "For now we see through a glass darkly".. Aren't you glad you commented on this post...  I do talk a lot... You have a great day and may your future be awesome...
