So you can't find the front door??

So you can't find the front door?

A buyers agent yesterday seemed not able to find the frontbuyers agent, lyn sims, door of my listing.  Usually the front door of a home is the most decorative of the many available and this one is no exception.  There is also a lockbox located to the left of the front door (another clue!).  For some reason the agent couldn't find the front door & used the garage entrance to my listing. Obviously you are not showing the home to it's best advantage by shuffling past the riding law mower.

So now I actually have to put a showing notation for the front door?  Evidently there are door 'challenged' agents out there that need assistance when exiting their cars.  I will be putting showing instructions 'in braille' for those that are also visually impaired tomorrow.

Problem solving is what I do best!

Keep smiling there are a lot of good agents that have enough sense to call or ask when they make the appointment.

Lyn,

If that is the picture of the actual home in question, then all I can say is "Oh my"! That is one poor, confused soul.

Raymond:  Yes, we must carry on & try not to get annoyed.

Virginia:  Yep, that's the place. Pretty hard to find right?

Did she have a dog with her like in seeing dog?! Anyone who can't find the door to this home has an IQ of 30, seriously! Maybe she didn't want to (God forbid) walk up some stairs. She should be embarrassed and adding a notation to find the door is ridiculous! I'd be annoyed  - who wouldn't?!

Lyn, perhaps they "don't do stairs" :)  I have had a few front doors I could not get open--but I have never not been able to find one.

Kristine:  Well the seller wasn't pleased as to why the agent couldn't go thru or find the front door. I'm not sure what miscommunication could be had here.

Charles:  Maybe that's it! Silly me! They really wanted a ranch so they pulled up to a hillside 2-story.

Harry:  Ask & you shall receive as they say.

Lyn, you are hilarious!  Laughed my way through this one.  I'm not really sure how they missed the front door... unless they are blonde.

Linda:  She is actually blonde, I know her LOL.

Vern: I never had this happen before so I didn't have a back up plan.

Cindy:  Yep, pretty obvious where the front door is. Closest one to the lockbox too. Just for laughs I should put the garage door key in the lockbox!

Lyn, okay -- that's a pretty obvious front door but I have seen(never as significant as you pictured) an entrance that is not as clear.

What a crackup, there is the range of people in this business!  Just yesterday, I gave a buyer's agent the instructions that the lockbox was on the frame of the door.  When she got there she said she couldn't find it!  I said "STAND with your nose to the front door, she said "ok", then look to your left, she said "ok but I don't see anything".  I said "now after you have looked to your left, look up from there".   She said "OOOOOOH, sorry, I didn't see it before!"
