This year (2006), I was all over the place with my marketing. My goal is to always be different and more creative than the next guy. Well, I was certainly different and creative this year but when I look back, I was trying to be all things to all people. In other words, I spread myself too thin in too many areas. Time is a great teacher, is it not?
2007 is going to be the year of the niche for me. I will spend less and hit my targets. My 10 business goals for 2007 (resolutions).
- Spend less
- Focus on people I already know
- Focus on High Plains Village (after all I am the expert)
- Market on the internet
- Seek out more referrals
- Sell my listings (I have not had an expired yet)
- Volunteer more
- Stay involved with the construction industry (I still love the business)
- Blog better
- Systemetize everything
In the end my ultimate goal is not about income, its about activity. If I hold myself accountable to the activity goals then the rest will follow.
