It is daunting to say the least of all the paperwork required to get in or out of a Real Estate sales transaction. Pages of small print with bold lettering requiring initials etc. Renting a place is no different either. In my business plan, it is important for me that all parties have a good experience

THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE AGREEMENT

I always want to meet with and to discuss things with people long before we reach a written agreement stage. It is important that we agree on what needs to be done, cover all the stages required and know the reasonable outcome. What if we change our minds or things don't go as expected comes up from time to time

THINGS CAN HAPPEN

I would want reimbursement for any out of pocket expenses, fliers, signs, ads and a small fee for my time should someone change their mind. Then why require an agreement in the first place? Well, we all have to be clear on what we are doing and why. From there come what may

I REMAIN FAIR AND OPEN BUT.....

I have been quick to let people out of agreements that were legally binding based on my assessment at that time. Only the parties involved will understand the intricacies. If there is bad will or shenanigans afoot, I take a stand.

After we have consulted, it is pretty clear on what we are doing, when, how, and what all parties should expect or we don't move foreword. I always give people a day or two to think things over too
