I definitely have!!

My 12 year old daughter knows that she has to write things down for me or I forget. Like 'drama today, pick me up at 5'. She has taken to putting post-it notes on my laptop screen or my bathroom mirror. It's quite helpful.

Now I just need her to train her two younger brothers to do the same!

I have a great system now for work. There is a designated spot on my desk, where all my notes and scraps of paper from throughout the day are collected. Every evening (usually) I transfer them all to one list for the next day. So when I sit down at my desk every morning I am ready to go.

But if it's not on the list, it's not gonna happen.

Mary,  I am a list-driven person.  If it is on my list it will get done.  Sometimes I will even add, "clean house" to my list.  It causes me to block time to complete the task.   Planning and preparing for the day ahead is what gets things done in my world.  Your sons will come around ... keep training them!

hi Mary ~ I can SO relate to your post!  I must gather those little notes too and make my To Do list every night for the next day.  Otherwise, having so much to do means something would be forgotten.  I love your graphic -- too cute!

When the plates stop spinning and start crashing around me I know to go back to my old reliable LIST of things to do.  Thanks for your post.

I do this with my Children. I tell them if it is not in my Google calender it is not going to happen. I only missed one or two school programs and I would remind them to remind me. It is wonderful to look at my calender in the morning an know how the set appointments for the day or the next few day. It works very well for me.
