The 11th annual St. Patrick's Day Parade is scheduled for Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 11:00 in the Village.
Dugan's Irish Pub in Pinehurst is one of the sponsors of this years St. Patrick's Day Parade. The parade is also sponsored by the Village of Pinehurst, the Pinehurst Business Guild, and Star 102.5 radio. Come early and listen to the Cross Creek Pipe and Drum Corps before the parade while taking a walk through the Village.
This year there is a military theme to the parade to support our troops returning from Iraq as well as all those have served our military and those currently serving. The grand marshal of this years parade is Brig. General Edward Reeder and along with Master Sgt. Jon Mims, will be escorted by an armored military SUV.
In addition to the military personnel, the parade will include antique cars along with decorated golf carts (we ARE in Pinehurst), floats, beauty queens and maybe a leprechaun or two.
