Today I feature Orchid Series for a Divine Detour #4. I was tickled to find this unusual orchid. There was a definite connection! Examine all that you can and make connections with every man, woman, child, flower, plant, and animal. What’s your connection? I’d love to know.

Mother Nature can be comical, and she reminded me, that sometimes things can get hairy, even scary, and that’s alright. All we need to do is to choose our attitude and be merry. Plato once said that the unexamined life isn’t worth living. The orchid seems to beckon me with a sigh...

Greetings Patrica - I really like the water drops on the this orchid bloom. Yesterday's bloom reminded me of a sea animal this one reminds me of something one would find topping off a large and beautiful salad. Hi Patricia--if I had to get deep with looking at this one it would remind me of the impermanence of everything. There is the effect that the orchid is both coming together and fading away at the same time. The photo is just gorgeous and perfect for St. Patrick's Day.

As an orchid grower here in south Florida ( I have them growing in and on my palm trees) I also have to say I love your "detour".
