Its time again for the Roanoke St.Patrick's Day Parade!
Last year was packed but Record crowds are expected today due to the warm temperatures!
Business up and down Jefferson Ave are getting green to earn some green! During the slow time of the year, this is a welcome draw to area business. The City of Roanoke is closing more streets to allow for the large crowds and restaurants are getting ready. Many of them have ordered extra food and increased their wait staff for the day.
The parade starts at 11 a,m, but bag pipers and other entertainers will be out earlier. A Celtic festival will be held from 10 am till 5 pm near Corned Beef and Company.
Get to the parade early to get the best view of the parade!
