I was just wondering what other people were doing for the Holidays.  Do you close down your office between Christmas and the New Year?  We have worked at an office that did just that, close down.  The current office where we work is open for that week, in fact, it will be open on the 26th.  That is alright, it may be good to be open and get some walk in traffic, or it may be dead!  That is the nature of the business.

It is a year that we get to travel to visit family, so it will be a short trip to California, followed by another quick trip to Northern Utah.  That is what it takes to spend time with family, so it is worth it.  The one drawback is that by going out of town, it takes away any motivation to decorate the house with all of the little extras that we usually does at this time of year.  It is still a lot of fun and the real joy is spending time with loved ones.  Let us know if you do work and have any success working during the Holidays.

Have a Wonderful and Safe Holiday Season!

We have no family that is close by and my husband is in retail so has to work the day before and the day after Christmas...thus we will be spending Christmas at home, a nice quiet day.  I will work right up to and immediately after Christmas....BUT if we had family close I would close everything down and spend time with them!

All of my family is about thirteen hundred miles away, and they are just not the type that is inclined to drive or fly to visit.  That leaves me.  So, it's either a trip to ice-frozen Cleveland, or Christmas with Mollie The Cat.  You should see Mollie in her elf costume !

Tony & Darcy ~ Great question!  Personally, I do both.  The office is closed and I head to a vacation for the week in between.  However, if a client needs help, I do have my laptop with me!  :)  Yeah, I know...nice vacation!

Happy Christmas and Merry 2008
