If you are looking to explore the magnificent wildflowers of the Guadalupe Nipomo Dunes at a private preserve, the Land Conservancy Restoration Project Manager, Carlos Torres, is conducting a wildflower hike on Friday, March 23, 2012, to the Black Lake Ecological Area.

Hikers will enjoy frequent stops to look at plants up close and ask questions. If you are ready to go, do be prepared to hike in uneven sand for up to 3 miles. Water and layered clothing are suggested. Binoculars and cameras are definitely encouraged. Pets are not allowed on this hike. The hike will begin at 9:00 am and ends at 11:00 am. Space is limited, so be sure to reserve your space & get directions by emailing LC@LCSLO.org.
