Speechless Sunday in Tokyo

By
Industry Observer

These photos were taken in Tokyo, Japan. My boys and I had the opportunity to go to Japan for Spring Break. This will probably be our last Spring Break together; as my boys graduate from high school and college respectively this year. Tokyo is quite an amazing city. We managed to find the quite zone for the 1st half of our Sunday there; we wondered where all the people were and then we found them in…. Ginza. There were so many people out shopping you would thing it was Christmas time. The department stores there are amazing.

Having lived in Japan for over 3 years I learned quickly that the Ginza area in Tokoyo was always crowded.

Yolanda,

Great pictures from your trip to Japan. It was good for you to do some Mom and sons bonding time on Spring Break.

My son is U.S. Navy Retired!  He spent 20 years deployed to many places while stationed on Air Craft Carriers.  At one time Singapore was his favorite city.  And then he visited Tokyo.  It knocked his socks off!
