Now thats an infomercial with punch!
Kudos to you and I hope your blog gets read by many as I am sure you can provide all the help those going through tough times need as well as mitigate expenses.
Nice post
Thanks a bunch David! Best wishes to you, too!
Orange County California has a divorce rate between 70-75%. Imagine.
Brian ~ It's a sad statistic indeed... 70-75% of OC residents filing for divorce. You're certainly in an excellent position to expertly advise and assist divorcing CA couples and their community property. P.S. The pic is adorable.
Excellent presentation for a uniquely qualified Attorney/Broker. That is a staggering statistic and should make your services even more appealing ;) (I love seeing your pic in the blog roll)
Brian,
Well you have sold me...I would be delighted and honored to refer you to either a happily ever after couple or a happily divorcing couple. Wishing you a great week. A
Melinda, it's a frightening statistic, really. I try to help pave the wave for a friendlier future.
Thanks a bunch Meems. I love to been seen on your blog roll!
Alexandra, coming from you, that's a huge compliment! Makes my day. Thank you!
Brian,
In general, the word Attorney conjures up different things for different people. What I specifically want others to know, is that there really are excellent Attorneys and you ARE at the top of my list! I am so proud to know that you set the bar high. You demonstrate talent, skill, professionalism, facts without confusion, and a rare quality called friendship. We are all blessed to have you on ActiveRain.
Patricia
Patricia, it's pathetic that a grown man can still blush. I appreciate your generous remarks. Thank you!
Hey Brian, I see all the stress that couple's often go through in real estate transactions and I often worry that it's going to cause marital issues. When there really are issues, it can be like walking into a mine field. I have no doubt that you handle these emotionally charged situations with cool and calm professionalism. That and your empathetic and kind personality, make you the only guy to call.
Two, two - two pro's in one! :) :)
Brian, It's not easy working with divorcing couples. I've had a few real estate experiences with divorcing/divorced couples. At times we need to be licensed therapists as well. We need patience and utmost compassion working with couples during such a challenging time in their lives.
Debb, "walking into a mine field" is very well put. Transactions can escalate or deescalate marital stress depending on its handling. Thanks, Debb, for the really kind endorsement.
Right you are Kathleen, it requires therapist-like patience. I appreciate the comment.
Brian~ I think 90% or more of divorces are the "mine field" you speak of, personally, I just went through that, and I saw how many times a fight or dispute could kill any deal, especially selling a house. I was super lucky, my divorce went smooth, even with the sale of the home...I have kids, and the kids need their MOM & DAD happy, that was my motivation and that's what made for a easy divorce...BTW: we used a mediator and had all maters settled a years time...
Jon, you deserve lots of credit for being able to remain amicable and making good use of a mediator. While everyone loves their kids, you're in the small minority who actually proved it. Glad to hear! Brian
