It is a beautiful place Meredith.  I haven't been up since all the snow, but plan on going soon!

Meredith, I heard on the TV news you might have a "little" snow there now - true? And does doing exercise at altitude count twice as much?

Dena we probably got about 3 feet over the last couple weeks.  It seems like it just keeps snowing.  Today was beautiful blue sky but a little windy.  I always count my exercising as double -- or maybe I just do half as much.

Dena, you also get two for one on drinks!  The alcohol in a drink has twice the effect at altitude.... :)

Thanks Meredith.  You've given me a great idea for a post on living in the Ozarks - smaller hills and less snow.

Not sure about how healthy tho??

Joan - The Ozarks has got to be a healthy place too.  With a lake like that I expect more people are out and about - except maybe not in the winter time. Brrrr!

Always better to stay in shape doing a fun outdoor activety vs. being stuck in the gym.
