Motivational Power Quote

Face the Truth

“There is a sense of exhilaration that from

facing head-on the hard truth and saying,

we will never capitulate.

It might take a long time, but we will find a way to prevail.”

Jim Collins, from his book, Good to Great

As I see it . . . . . . .

Face the truth

We can face the truth and master it or we can look at the truth through the prism of rose color glasses and have the truth master us.

The truth is a reality and to effectively master it we have to look at the truth as it is a fact. Once we acknowledge the truth or condition we can develop a plan and strategy to successfully master the condition.

The key is in dealing with the condition is to deal with it as it really is and not the way we would like it to.

Successful solutions come through facing the condition and seeing it through to a successful conclusion. It will take an element of persistence, time and focused effort to overcome the condition and bring it to a successful outcome.

When you face the truth you put yourself in the position of mastering it and prevailing in the condition.

Facing reality, no head in the sand! Great advice here. I may borrow this quote to use in a post about short sales and dealing with the circumstances. Thanks!

However, as ephemeral as you may want this message to be, the real question is "what is truth?"

Whoever undertakes to set himself up as a judge of Truth and Knowledge is shipwrecked by the laughter of the gods.
Albert Einstein

Lou, So true assuming and judging something that is not the fact we loose track of the true facts and opportunity to make the right decision.

Great quote today, Lou. I love that one from the Bible. "The Truth will set you FREE".

Lou,

I just had an incident today where I found out that someone did not tell me truth on something they should have, now the issue is a lot more pressing and I have a lot less time to fix it. Id rather the truth every time.
