7 Comments on New iPhoto Can Beam Photos Wirelessly Between New iPad, iPad 2, iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S
Oh you apple's are way to funny. The Google Android phones have been auto-syncing wireless forever. Android syncs all your networks, blogs, contacts, you name it and all without ever docking or tethering the phone to a computer.
Android, 53% of the smart phone market and growing!
The new IPAD does have a super screen..very high resolution but perhaps that is overkill. Who wants to stare at a litte screen for hours on end.
Will - I am NOT just talking about about syncing here...we can wirelessly beam photos between two iOS devices. I can instantly beam a group of listing photos to a buyer that I meet at a property from my iPhone to his iPhone or iPad without having to email a huge folder full of high resolution photos by using this $4.99 iPhoto app. Until you have tried it I would recommend not knocking it.
Edward - You mentioned staring at a little screen for hours and it made me think of all the smart phone users who stare at their tiny little screens for hours nonstop every day and I feel the same way about them...but they still do it. I personally don't believe even the "New iPad" by itself is really a replacement for a powerful laptop or killer desktop. I think it compliments them and helps make us more efficient. I am the first to admit that the iPad or pretty much any other slate tablet running iOS or Google can't easily do huge batch photo resizing or large file HD video editing but there isn't much else that we do in real estate that they can't do well. The convenience of the iPad and most many other tablets is amazing. The Retina display is going to help take my listing presentation to an even higher level visually because the difference between my previous iPad and the New iPad is significant.
Sam, since I have the iPhone, iPad and iMac, I absolutely love the streaming and abilities between all of them. My husband says I am now an "Apple Head." Be that as it may, I thoroughly enjoy having all of my devices compatible and working seamlessly between them.
WOW, this sounds fantastic, can't wait to try it out. Thanks again for the wonderful information to keep us competitive in our markets!!
Knew you could beam between your own devices but nice to know you can do so with anyone running iPhoto. Bought it but had to upgrade to the absolute latest operating system from IOS 5 to IOS 5.1 in order to do it. Thanks for the indepth tip.
