One of my favorite places to visit; quieter than the library and comforts my soul.
Teral: I am going to guess that is a picture that was taken in a Border's Books store before they closed them down. I liked Borders more than Barnes & Noble... more eclectic. But the Borders comfy chairs are gone, and some months ago Barnes & Noble removed almost all of their comfy chairs. I am not happy. I used to go, pick up a book, and just sit... and be inspired... but no more. The darn chairs are gone.
Is that from a Borders ?
ps... Have a Wonderful Sunday...
That scenery looks like I could sit there for hours. Seems like the Borders, Barnes and Noble and Blockbusters have all folded up in the islands. Now I gotta go back to the Library.
Teral,
My first read today and a good one as I head out to Mass, thanks for sharing and have a great day!
Teral, What a great place to hide out from the world and read, think and just be still. I really like the way you inserted the Bible verse too. Perfect! Hope you enjoy a great Texas day in all you do my friend.
Teral~ Looks like a peaceful place to sit and read. Oh, and have a nice cup of tea.
Looks like an ideal spot to curl up, read and get inspired. God bless & thanks.
Looking forward to that Sunday too, Mark.
Winston, there could be an occassional whisper indeed.
Not Borders although I was a fan of Borders like you, Karen Anne especially in their early days.
The age of digital has changed many things; thanks for sharing Bruce.
Mark it was a splendid day; thank you for sharing yours.
My day is always blessed by good friends; thanks John.
Hi Donna, I haven't tried the tea but would love to share a cup with you.
Odd where we can find our solitude sometimes but find it we do, thanks John.
Blessings to you, Michelle and thank you.
