My goals are simple. . . .work harder, listen more, be myself. Most importantly, never get out of touch with my customers. Promote myself more - If I don't promote myself who will? Of course, my customers will do some type of promoting for me but the rest is totally up to me by my treatment of my customers.. I did not put down any goals on paper for the previous two years, I just know what I would be doing.
Now, I was invited by my broker to join the ALC (Agents Leadership Council); I consider this somewhat of a privilege since there are more than 165 agents in our office. I was surprise to learn that I'm in the top 20 within my company. Exactly where I don't know. I'm never one who focuses too much on stats and I don't want to start doing that now.
I welcome the opportunity to have some input in not just my companys' growth as well as my own growth. I'm glad that I have the opportunity to teach some other new agents some classes too and how w e can all become better agents. So with just a little over two years under my belt, I can say, 'I did and so can you!' Be passionate about what you can do and will do for your customers. Be honest if there's something that you cannot do. Don't make promises that you can't keep. Work for the interest of your customers first - commission will automatically follow. If you put your commission before your customers, those customers will never be repeats! My goal has always been to keep my customer for life. In order to accomplish this, I have to make sure that my customers pretty much get what they wants.
I have to give some credit too to AR. I'm glad that I'm a member here and the wonderful input that many of you so freely share with us makes a big difference in everyones lives. So for that I thank you ALL!
