Battered and Abused? You Are Worthy!

John: No one should have to endure domestic violence or abuse, whether physical or mental.  It needs to be said over and over...We ALL have WORTH and are SPECIAL!!! 

I hope this post wasn't inspired by someone you know. Abuse is such a horrible thing, very thought provoking post.

John, also hoping you did not write this from personal knowledge, and hope anyone experiencing abuse seeks help, as they ARE worthy!

Good mornimg John. The title was evocative and despite that I was still surprised by the simplicity of the post. Sounds like you may have some personal experience here.   

John, I hope just one person in need reads this and gets the inspiration to get help.  I jsut hope they remain safe while finding a way out - everyone DESERVES not to be mistreated!!!!!

Excellent post, John.  Many of us are not aware of the large numbers of battered and abused people we have in our communities.  

I think that Anita said it best!  We are ALL worthy!

Battered and abused MUST get away from the abuser. This is a very sad part of our society but with the help of those that care for the one getting hit or assaulted verbally, some positive change can take place. It's great to publicize the resources available cause everyone does not know where to go. Everyone is worthy of kindness and love, and that is not just sugar plums, THAT, is what should be NORMAL.

What is amazing about those who are battered and abused is many of them believe this is the way it should be.  We had a receptionist who had a history of battery and abuse.  It was an eye opener for me. Luckily, she had managed to escape and find a nice man. A
