It is that time of year again, the
hustle and bustle of Christmas and the New Year. Are you ready?? Or are you
still working on getting your cards out, did you know that you can hire a
virtual assistant to do project work too?? Many of us take on project work as
well as ongoing work.
Utilizing a virtual
assistant this time of year can be a great way to get caught up and relieve
the pressure that we all feel during this time of the year.. Many VA's are
available to assist you in getting your cards done. +Many of my clients are
utilizing me for this. I have all the lists I need, the cards they have chosen,
and am ready to get these cards out in time for Christmas.
Some virtual Assistants even
offer a concierge service to assist you in planning travel, maybe shopping for
that special someone that you can't seem to get done. Let me give you an
example:
Joe Agent (we will
call him) wants to find that special gift for Mrs. Joe Agent but either can't
find it or doesn't really have the time to go out and shop for it. So what is
Joe to do?? Joe is in luck he picks up the phone, sends an email or sends a fax
to Sally Assistant (his trusted VA) and says, "can you please locate a ABC
gift for me for the Mrs.?" Sally more than happy to accommodate him
says, "yes" and gets right on it. So what does Sally do? Sally
searches online either locates the gift local to Joe for pick up or locates the
gift online, arranges for the gift to be gift wrapped and sent to Joe's office
so Mrs. Joe can't get a peek before Christmas, or has it available for Joe to
pick up.
OR
Susie Agent wants to
go home to see her parents for the holidays instead of having to plan out the
trip herself she calls her VA and asks her to set up the arrangements for
her. So Sally our busy assistant searches for the best price for her
flight, purchases the tickets, arranges a car and hotel if needed. Then as all
good assistants should she puts all of this information into an easy to read
travel itinerary with all pertinent information so Susie can easily access while
traveling.
There are several ways to use your
assistant during the holidays a VA can be a big help even on the most minute of
things. Anything to free up your time and relieve some of the holiday stress is
a good thing for you don't you think? Call your VA see how she or he can help! If
you don't have one, I am sure someone here in Active
Rain would be more than happy to accommodate you.
