Caring Relationships REQUIRE Double Rain Bags

Rain BagsA parallel between caring for people whether in business or our personal lives and some heavy thunderstorms and ongoing rain in our area of late made me think

Caring Relationships REQUIRE Double Rain Bags

From both growing up as a newspaper delivery boy and STILL receiving a home paper (I'm the last one in the hood), on severely inclement weather days you DOUBLE BAG the newspaper. Comes out dry every time even if within the first bag it is wet.

Loving, caring relationships are like that. People are not perfect and fail us at times with our expectations but they are human, we are human. If we have that 2nd rain bag, that RESERVE love for them we're still with them, and NEVER LET THEM FALL.

Because You Loved Me

Gary what a great analogy!  Indeed some relationships need a little extra TLC and encouragement.

Gary-I used to deliver papers back in NY and you definitely needed bags not only for rain but snow.  50 bundles with 50 papers in each bundle a day I delivered to stores and carriers. That is why I can swing a bat so well because those bundles were heavy. Love the analogy. Relationship whether friendship or love relationships require nurturing, caring and extra protection on those stormy days.  Love the post.

This fits well with some of my clients. I have one that is taking a bit more care but he will be worth it.

John: The added TLC and encouragement make the world of difference to another. They see it and definitely feel it eventually.

Sharon: Didn't know about snow bags on the newspapers but that makes sense. Great physical exercise with the 50 of them. I didn't know many girl newspaper delivery people around where I grew up. The extra protection comes with caring very, very much. It is a huge gift we either get or give.

William: Those we care about the most truly are WORTH IT, I feel that way too.

Gary, they probably double rainbag your newspaper since you are the only one left in the hood. They have to care about their customer service :)

Eli Maria: You are ALWAYS one step ahead of me with your thoughts. Want to be my assistant? A hug with strong arms is MORE than a double bag for protection and says what mere words never can as it is an ACTION of love. You even feel it, like a kiss, when the person is away from you. There is a saying that isn't it so nice when you hug someone and they hug you even tighter (showing how much they love you) or you are releasing and they are not? Glad you liked that song, it was meant to be one where a person is always there for you, even through the storms. We all want that. Hope your day was peachy.

Bill: Ratings with the comments. Love it!! BTW I am terrible with emoticons. Half the time I have to search google to figure out what they mean. Just not a natural texter I guess.

Eli Maria: You are probably right, you are too good and I can't afford such talent. Maybe I can save up and buy per hour chunks LOL. Agree, on all actions being so more important than words. I like the way you spun that with the single and double bags. Super sweet song with husband and wife Waylon and Jessi, your musical side showing, and if you listen carefully great harmonica in there too. Thanks moocho as always.... bringing me smiles daily ....

Eli Maria: Life is good ~ WITH YOU. A business woman with a BONUS plan, smile more. In school I always went for the extra credit with the teachers. Made my other classmates SO MAD at me scoring like 105. Stay sweet. Easy for you.

Eli Maria: A shrewd businesswoman, I like that. Think teacher's pet for me. At least fourth and fifth grades. I still work for extra credit. Doesn't take much to get me going. Smiles and attention usually do it.

Howdy and morning Gary

Gary my friend
, this here sure is a mighty fine blog post, which you have pointed out that sometimes there are storms in both business and personal relationships between folks.

When it comes to our newspaper, I sure would be mighty glad if our newspaper delivery person would put the paper in at least one bag when its raining.

Have a good one
Dale in New Hampshire
