Storm King Art Center

Season Begins ~ April 4th 2012

The Hudson Valley is well known for its abundant American History. What many local people don’t know is that New Windsor is host to a modern art sculpture park. In contrast to the abundant local museums of the past, this outdoor sculpture park is a 500 acre park featuring artists from all over the world. Storm King Art Center recently celebrated over 50 years of providing visitors with interesting and giant sized art sculptures.

Spring has officially arrived, and now Storm King Art Center is ready once again to open their gates to the public. The season begins April 4th this year. With our fabulous weather lately, the landscape is rapidly turning green. The Storm King Art Center, museum, cafe, and Sculpture Gardens all await your visit.

Janis: That is really neat!  Thank you for sharing that- I enjoyed the video.  Also, "Storm King" has to be the coolest name for an art center, ever.  :)
