More Gems in Charlottesville!

This week I was our showing land in and around Charlottesville (Albemarle, Fluvanna and Nelson Counties). When showing land I not only go out in my truck, but I also wear my mud boots because we are going to walk some interesting property lines.

Well on this journey we came across a home that was picture perfect and so I thought you might like to see it:

If you look at the wreaths on the windows it will give you an idea of the size of this Estate.

This is one area that rarely has homes that come on the market. These are large parcels of land and there is a barn that I have seen several times that is amazing! This photo does not do it justice:

I hope that you can see the detail of this barn, it is amazing!!!

There was a little pond that we drove by that was so inviting, I wanted you to see it:

You see when we go out looking for land or homes in the Charlottesville area, we are going to run across some un-expected gems!

WOW!! I love the estate, the barn and the pond. There's nothing better than a beautiful home on a beautiful piece of land. I have to come visit Virginia--it looks like a great place to live.

That is one big home. I would hate to clean it, but I suppose with that money you can haves someone do it for you.

There is something about old barns that tug at my heart. Perhaps its the resilience over the years? Great photos Charles!

KRIS - I am thinking of doing a post on just barns. We havce so many great ones around here. The problem is so many are hidden on estates.

That is an absolutely gorgeous estate! Love the house, barn, pond, everything! As soon as I hit the lottery I'll look you up to buy it. LOL

I love Charlottesville and the Shanendoah Valley! It is so beautiful up there and you never know what is around the corner.
