How to Attract Buyers with Your Blogging!!
Thanks to my friend, and fellow AR Rainmaker, Fred Carver, I thought I would share my thoughts on “How your Blogging Can be Used to Attract Buyers”. Fred was nice enough to suggest this topic for helping and encouraging New Members, or even those not so New, who need to increase their business.
First, of all. You need to blog what you already know. Those market and community reports that informs the public about what has sold, and what homes are still available in the various neighborhoods in your market area. Beautiful graphs and charts are nice, but I have found that the consumers want to know your opinion as to what all those numbers mean. And if you haven’t already started, you need to start adding some videos on these communities to supplement your market and community reports.Being visual and up close and personal is guaranteed to make those phone lines ring. Just ask Ms. Anita Clark, Andy Mooers, Debb Janes, or Karen Kruschka, just to name a few, who are awesome with their videos. You can even make a video with still photos on communities too by using Windows Live Movie Maker 2011. I know I have received a lot of views on all the community presentations that I have done so far this year.
Next, blog about some incentive programs being offered by New Home Construction builders. Don’t forget to blog about the various programs available for First Time Home Buyers too. If you have a niche with Short Sales, Foreclosures, and HUD Homes, I would blog about those programs too. Buyers are thirsty for just about any kind of information that you can give them that will help them to obtain “the American Dream” of home ownership.
Last, blog about those local events going on in your communities. You may even want to promote some local businesses too. Making a video of a local business, and putting your call to Action in your posts will surely point you out as the local expert in that market area.
