Is Mold a Problem in Cabot Arkansas Homes?

By
Real Estate Agent with CRYE-LEIKE Realtors

There are hundreds of different types of molds. Only a hand full of them are poisonous. When selling a home I have to have buyers sign a mold disclaimer. This pretty much states that I have no knowledge of any mold in the home.

Mold can be serious and it is always a good idea to have it inspected. I am not suggesting to have a mold inspection in the home no matter what, I would just recommend that if you see mold in the home to have it checked out.

A home inspector will not check for mold. You need to hire a mold inspector if you find mold in the home. With the moist climate in Arkansas mold is common and is always something that should be checked out if seen.

If you need any help with the purchase of your home do not hesitate to contact me or visit my Cabot real estate site

You are correct when in doubt, talk to a pro about having a mold test / mold inspection completed prior to purchasing.  Last thing you want is to find out your home has a high level of mold after you sign on the dotted line.
