Last Sunday December 9th, The Arizona Republic published an article - "How lst-time buyers cope".

In my opinion, the only way for first time buyers to buy safely is to use a Buyers Real Estate Agent. A Buyers Agent has

the Buyer 1st in mind at all times. -

  It is the responsibility of the Buyers Agent to get the Buyer in contact with an honest mortgage person to advise the Buyer on what price home He can affort; what all the costs are involved; payment amounts, taxes, etc.

 The Key word is "Fiduciary Responsibility for the Buyer".
