Well congratulations to Saline, Michigan!  You have been named one of the top Best Places to Live in the US by CNN Money Magazine

How exciting it is to look at the stats they pull together for analysis like this.  The statistics include average age, crime rate, standard of living and crime rate for the cities.  Saline can best be discribed with the experiences you have had there.  The resraurants are great, the schools are award winning and the community feeling is really wonderful.

Saline, Michigan is home to the Washtenaw County Fairgrounds and if you are into antiques you certainly know this area once a month for one of the best antique shows for miles around.  It is a standard visit for many enthusiasts and a wonderful place to meet and greet!  This will be the 40th season for 2008; a long wonderful tradition for many people.

The other very important fuction of the Washtenaw County Fairgrounds is to host the annual 4H fair the last week of July.  It has been our family's hang out from early in the morning until almost midnight for the past 10 years and it holds many memories of my daughter's 4H club and all the kids who have been a part of the 4H experience.

Saline, Michigan is growing with businesses coming to the area and it is really a wonderful place to live.  This is the link to the Saline, Michigan website and I'm sure you would love it too if you have the chance to live in this great city.

Karen, As a Saline area resident, I know you only touched on the highlights here.  The parks, the historic and picturesque downtown, the preservation district, housing in all price ranges, new and old, convenience to major roadways going in every direction - I could go on and on and on, and usually do!
