Las Vegas....Fall and Winter Have Arrived!

For those of you who think we have no change of seasons here in Las Vegas, I have pictures to show you!  We have had some chilly weather which has caused the trees to change color and now the leaves are beginning to fall to the ground.  Also, there has been snow in the mountains.  This morning it was 33 degrees and I even had to turn on my rear defrosters (I had no idea where the little button was).  Enjoy!

Winter has it's beauty even in the "hot" Las Vegas... I am far from home visiting my family, for the holidays, in North California (San Francisco) where the foliages are breathtaking... but missing my home.

Ricardo:  You sound like my boys, they have already been snowboarding.  I don't ski or snowboard and do not like the cold.  Give me the 100 degree days!

Arina:  I like Las Vegas "hot".  I had enough cold in my life when I lived in PA.  Enjoy the beauty and the holidays!

Roberta, I think I'll stay where I am. I like 90 degrees in December. I think my poinsettia leaves are starting to change.

Mark: I love it here for about 9 months but it does get cold in Dec and Jan.  The daytime temps are better but still cold.  I am looking for a warm place to spend my winter months so I may just be looking your way!  90 sounds just great to me in Dec.
