The class was held in downtown Jackson, Wyoming, and taught by Michael Yesk. If you have the opportunity to take the class when he is teaching it, you're in for a treat. Many speakers on this topic can be boring, but Michael uses humor very effectively in getting points across, and uses real life examples and what-ifs, which add depth to just learning the rules. We also learned about using TICs of tenants in common as a way of passive investing - new to me. We're going back to Florida to call some of our clients - being proactive in showing some of our clients how they can benefit and build wealth this way, rather than in the past when we just reacted when someone said they wanted to buy or sell using a 1031.
