SCHAUMBURG RECYCLING EVENT 2012schaumburg recycling,recycling center,lyn sims,


The village’s annual recycling event will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2012 from 10am to 3pm at the School District 54 office located at 524 East Schaumburg Road.

Residents are invited to recycle electronics, computers, televisions, batteries, CFL bulbs, oil, antifreeze, and more at this event.

Paper shredding (2 box limit), Clothes, Bicycles, Glasses, Flags!

Don't worry if things are heavy, there are volunteers that will take all the items out of your car for you.  Load it up and drive over!  Very easy and hassle free!   
 
NO PAINT OR HAZARDOUS WASTE WILL BE ACCEPTED.

Hi Lyn ~ I love these recycling events because it's a one-stop chance to drop off all of those items that can be recycled but we put them aside waiting to find out what to do with them.  It's a good feeling to help the environment and ourselves at the same time when we clear out the space they were taking up!
